Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Supports HVAC/R technicians, managers, and other associates with technical expertise in real-time training and support for facilities services. Participates in teams in building performance and controls by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges. Ensures customer and associate safety, while minimizing service costs, for problems by conducting diagnostic techniques; providing proactive solutions to problems; applying programming methods; implementing solutions; and following up to ensure effectiveness of solutions. Performs special or unique programming projects to building controls systems by adapting or changing the building controls strategies; identifying and responding to trends with alarms, defrosts, and work orders; identifying and responding to manufacturer recalls; programming daylight harvesting; and ensuring sustainability initiatives and energy reductions are achieved based on programming changes. Completes work assignments and priorities in Building Performance and Controls by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with Managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Oversees and recommends proactive measures through advanced preventative maintenance activities to ensure balanced energy savings, sustainability initiatives, and customer service satisfaction by analyzing the collection and maintenance of system data ; identifying necessary programming for special projects; making decisions to program equipment to operate or cease operation; and making decisions to restore assets to operational status and non-interrupted store operation. Maintains project oversight by ensuring timelines are met and coordinating changes ; managing costs; monitoring the status of work and communicating schedules ; providing updates to administrative coordinator to track; Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
